Meet Our Team

Tyler Brown, DMD

Dr. Brown grew up on his family's dairy farm in south central Wisconsin going on to graduate with his undergraduate degree in Pre-Biomedical sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He went on to graduate from LECOM school of dental medicine in Bradenton, Florida. Having spent time living on O'ahu he knew he needed to return to practice and began his career in West Maui. He remains current with the latest practice philosophies and is a member of the American Dental Association, Hawai'i Dental Association, Maui County Dental Society, and Maui Postgraduate Dental Forum.

Hellen, Patient and Financial Coordinator

Hellen was born in the Philippines and moved to Maui in 1978. She has been working in the customer service industry for 30 years, and within the dental field for over a decade. She has a passion for working with people and giving back to the community.

Bridgid, Patient and Financial Coordinator

Bridgid moved to Maui in 2002 shortly after she graduated high school from Avalon, Santa Catalina Island, California. She attended the Dental Assisting Program at Maui College and received her certification in 2005.

Amber, Dental Hygienist

Amber was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She loves her family and friends dearly but left at age of 19 and has called Maui home ever since.

Amber graduated from the University of Hawaii Maui College in 2015, with an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She immediately found her dream office and has been with Kahana Family Dental Center ever since.

Kimi, Dental Hygienist

Kimi was born and raised in Kobe, Japan. She was an exchange student and graduated from the University of Nevada-Reno. While in Reno, she met her future husband and has been married for 29 years. She graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Sacramento City College and has been practicing Dental Hygiene for twenty-five years. She moved to Maui four years ago and resides on the westside. In her free time, she likes to exercise including stand-up paddling and surfing.

Keri, Dental Hygienist

Keri was born and raised in Lahaina, Maui. She graduated from University of Hawaii, Maui College with an AS in Dental Hygiene in 2013. She has been working in the dental field for the last 11 years. One of her most memorable experiences was a dental mission in the Philippines where she got to help others and experience a simple way of life.

Ciera, Dental Assistant

Ciera was born in Majuro, Marshall Islands, but grew up in Sacramento, California.

She moved to Maui in high school where she attended and graduated from Lahainaluna High School. She is currently enrolled in UHMC going from her degree in Dental Hygiene.

Tonie, Dental Assistant

Tonie was born and raised in the Philippines. She graduated from CentroEscolarUniversity in Manila and holds a degree in Dental Medicine. She practiced as a Public Health Dentist for more than 5 years in her home country.
